DEMONS (Demonyo)

- Usually high class, with few bloodlines remaining pure and considered royalty.
- The race ruling the land of Zablon. They prefer warmer climates.
- Appearance wise- Skin color ranging from warm/cool grey to a deep red. Wings, horns, tail, sharp teeth, eyes with black sclera and varying eye color. If a demon were to procreate with another race (like a monster or a wizard) the feature the offspring is most likely to inherit are the eyes.
—→ Demons may conceal their wings and tail if needed
- What makes them special is their blood-- their blood includes unique properties that enable them to have varying powers. Along with being poisonous, they can use their blood to curse people and grant them favours, like how wizards can use their magic. Some of the more purer demon bloodlines are even immune to wizard magic in general.
—→ Their blood also allows them to have quick regeneration from wounds and cuts. Because of this they aren’t scared to get hurt by others.
—→ More info about this can be read in the Demon Blood section.
- Demons are usually selfish about using their blood for others. Some illnesses require demon blood as a cure but they will usually be hesitant to give some out.
- Some people may mistake vampires for demons, though they are considered part of the monster species.

WIZARDS (Salamangkero)

- Higher class than the monsters, but not considered as high as demons.
- Creatures purely made out of magical power and energy
- The race ruling the land of Gitlayang.
- Despite this, a lot of monsters still worship them for their magic and what they are capable of creating. Most medicine and salves are created by wizards.
- Though appearance wise they look most like humans, it is in fact not their real form. They originally looked more like spirit entities, or ghosts, but used their magic to create human forms. Wizards need to concentrate and condense their magical power in order to gain and maintain a physical form. Eventually, it becomes natural for them to do so. When a wizard panics, it is possible for them to revert back to their ghastly appearance. It is more likely to happen to kids than adults as they have less experience and control with their magic.
- Different wizards have different roles or specialties. Some may specialize in weather, some may specialize in dark/light magic, and some may specialize in healing. Different families have different roles or specialties.
- Magic users usually start with basic elements, then create different variations of spells to suit their needs. For example, a water specialist may focus their magic on creating rainy weather, while a fire specialist may focus their magic on creating sunny weather.
- Young wizards cannot fully control their power yet so they have to rely on specialized magic books for spells. It is also what helps them hone their control and gain a physical form earlier, which means that wizards have to learn how to read as early as possible. As they grow older, their power becomes more stabilized thus enabling them to create spells or handle their magic on their own.
—→ However for more complex spells, wizards still may need to use tomes with special incantations no matter what the age. It also helps them control that power if ever anything goes wrong during the process.

MONSTERS (Halimaw)

- The common citizen. Or at least, are more likely to be seen roaming around the lands of Nilangad.
- The race ruling the land of Minglupa
- Their appearance varies the most and cannot be described equally. What they have in common is that they don’t have the primary attributes of a demon or a wizard, so no special blood or no pure magic. Some monsters may also shapeshift into other creatures or animals, which demons and wizards cannot do unless they use an external source.
—→ I.e If a wizard wanted to transform they would need specific potions or incantations to make it happen, while for monsters it happens naturally.
- Intelligence levels between monsters also vary. Some may have morals and some don’t. Those without are usually seen out in the wild, far from big civilizations. Most of the time they mind their own business unless you trespass on their land, since they are very territorial. They will not hesitate to attack you.
- Some species of monsters were created by the wizards, as they used to do experiments with their magic on animals. Nowadays it’s frowned upon to practice that sort of thing but some current monsters evolved from those creations.
- The first monsters practiced cannibalism at first until they switched to eating animals more often. Some tribes still practice it, though.
- Examples include animal people, insect people, elves, mermaids, centaurs, goblins, ghouls, other shapeshifting or humanoid creatures, etc.

HYBRIDS (Halid)

- Hybrids of these races also exist in Nilangad. Monster/Demon ones are most common, followed by Monster/Wizard then Demon/Wizard.
—→ Halid- halo (mix) + hybrid
- Depending on which hybrid you are, you get shared power from that bloodline but it will not be that strong.
—→ Monster/Demon hybrids may have special blood from the demon line, but it won’t have enough power to put a curse on someone. It may be enough to have faster wound healing, though.
—→ Monster/Wizard hybrids may have some form of magic power but it can only go as basic as slight telekinesis or basic elemental spells. They cannot use complex spells as the magic in their bloodline isn’t strong enough.
—→ Though rare, Demon/Wizard hybrids do exist as well. Though most of the time they can get a bit unstable because demon blood and wizard blood do not mix well together. Most of these types of hybrids don’t live past their childhood or teen years.

ANGELS (Anghel)

- Angels are naturally born in the afterlife realm and they do not experience pain, hunger, or thirst. They are all created by the God of Judgement
- Most angels' jobs are to assist those who have passed on from Nilangad. The afterlife realm serves as a sort of "purgatory" for people who have passed away on land.
—→ Angel wings serve as pocket dimensions where they can store and take out items any time. This enables them to be able to assist anyone should they need anything.
- If an angel is seen on land it is most likely that they were banished for not following orders from their superior, or from the God of Judgement itself. It is a common fact that if one is seen walking amongst mortals, they have done something terrible to get kicked out of the afterlife realm.
- Since angels aren't supposed to be on land, their presence is often feared by land dwellers. As such, angels are always avoided for safety purposes.
—→ As they are not used to living on land and experiencing normal life, angels die pretty easily.
- Some angels may choose to hide their presence but one can usually tell an angel is near through the sound of flapping wings and the ringing of what seems to be like church bells.

THE THREE GODS (Ang Tatlong Diyos)

history

CONCEPTION
The universe was a vast, empty space. Cold and lonely for the single entity drifting through. A blinding ball of light. It had the power to do anything, but it did not. It had no reason to. After all, it was the only thing that existed, until the entity had a bright idea. It didn’t have to be the only thing that existed.
The entity split itself into three to end its loneliness. It finally had friends. They had something to look at besides the darkness, and for a time, that was enough for them, but eventually they went back to where they started. This time, the three of them were together in loneliness. Quietly watching each other, and doing nothing else. One of them spoke up, suggesting that they create something, and finally had something to do and talk about. These were the first words ever spoken in history. They started with themselves, creating more solid forms to differentiate them from one another. But currently, their forms are unknown[WIP].The space around them was empty, and so they thought of creating other things. First was light. The sun and the stars lit up the pitch black void. Then they created planets with various environments, like planets of ice or acid, and they were drawn to one which was covered in water. A thousand islands rose from the ocean, with mountains of snow piercing the heavens and crevices sinking into a howling abyss. They created life. Plants and animals. Creatures that could act on their own and spread throughout the planet. They wanted the world to grow on its own, and so they created creatures to watch over them without the entities’ interference. The demons were given control over fate. The wizards had control over the elements. The monsters could adapt to wherever they wanted to live. The humans were powerless, but looked the closest to the three entities. They were satisfied with everything they had made. They decided on what each of them would do. The first entity wanted to continue bringing new things into existence. The second entity wanted to watch over the creatures they gave life to, and ensure that everything was in order. The third entity wanted to decide what came next after their lives ended. They became the gods of creation, balance, and judgement.Over time, the main races divided the land into three. The demons took the lands of the north, the wizards had the islands in the middle, and the monsters took the south. The humans were the first to properly communicate and form a society. Though they were more advanced, they were powerless compared to the other races. They could not claim any land as their own. Forced to stay hidden and wander the lands as the other races only thought of them as food. The humans were constantly killed by starvation or becoming food themselves, but they never lost hope for their survival. Their faith was what kept them going. Not knowing that the god of balance was listening. Eventually, the gods decided to answer their prayers and give the humans another chance. Another world that was theirs alone. The god of balance wanted to reward the humans since they always called out to their god for help. Balance asked Creation to save the humans. To let them live free from being hunted. Creation did not want to allow it. That would be changing the fate of their creations, which they forbid themselves from doing, but Creation saw their struggles and granted Balance’s request under one condition: Balance would no longer be in charge of watching over the humans in their new world, as they were not allowed to be attached to any of their creations. Any information regarding the humans would be hidden from Balance. They agreed with Creation’s condition, severing their connection with the humans. Their memories of the old world were erased. Only the gods were aware of everything that happened.Balance was left with the demons, wizards, and monsters, who were all apathetic towards the gods. Each of them were strong enough to fight for their survival. They did not need to ask a god to help them. Balance accepted that they would never worship their god. It was a sacrifice worth taking to save the humans.RESET
Among the three races, the demons and wizards were more prominent in Nilangad, as they were sentient enough to know what was going on around them and self aware of their existence. The monsters wouldn’t come until later. They were initially seen as rabid creatures with extraordinary survival instincts. All three races would initially look nothing like humans; with demons looking more like batlike creatures, wizards looking like ghastly spirits, and monsters looking like various types of beasts.
The demon and wizard races would often work together to build proper civilizations. With the demons using their physical power and stamina to build houses, and the wizards to help out with growing food and creating necessities. Both species would often rely on fruits and vegetables for food, until the demons eventually hunted down the monsters for a taste of meat and blood. The wizards would frown upon this act by the demons as they saw the monsters as creatures worthy of respect. Unknowingly to them, it was only the beginning of the feud between them.Years passed by, and their skills and knowledge about themselves would advance. Monsters slowly evolved like the demons and wizards. Aware of themselves, their abilities, and how to avoid being hunted by the demons. And at some point, wizards as well.Everything was fine at first, until Balance could not bear with it any longer. Balance craved for the praise the humans used to give them. Balance asked Creation about how the humans were, and if they could take back their role over the humans, but Creation refused. Balance demanded that they would be allowed even a glimpse of their current state. Even a few seconds of hearing the humans thank their god, but yet again, Creation refused. That was against what they agreed upon.Enraged by Creation’s stubbornness, Balance slowly grew to hate Creation. Balance neglected their duty and allowed fleeting images of humans to appear in dreams. The demons, wizards, and monsters all had their own names for the land, but after the reappearance of the mysterious humans in their dreams, they agreed on a single name. Every creature’s dream had one thing in common: a human’s voice saying one word. Nilangad.WAR AND AFTERMATH
If there was something in common they all had, it was their dreams. Dreams that somehow felt like memories of a race that did not exist. They called this race “humans”. Seemingly plain and powerless, but their image and anatomy fascinated them. It was almost like they were the closest image to how a god was supposed to look like.
One day, a group of very powerful and skilled demons and wizards thought of experimenting with their specialties-- demon blood and wizard magic. They thought of opening a portal to see if there were any other worlds or realities other than theirs, or if they would somehow find out if the humans they saw in their dreams were real. Knowing the power blood and magic held, they thought it was possible. It took decades of trial and error, but they figured out the right amount of demon blood infused with special magic from the wizards. They were able to open a portal to the human world. The first group who was able to open a portal were called the “Unang Nuno” or the “First Ancestors”, though many would shorten it to “Unano”. Three demons. The heirs to Zablon’s monarchy. And three wizards. Two who mastered three elements each, and one who mastered all five, who they called the Awatara, or Avatar. They were the strongest demons and wizards of each race. Whose strength could not be matched by any other. When they first stepped into the human world, they discovered a place much like their own. The wizards were more interested in the discovery of new types of plants for them to use with their magic, while the Demons were more interested in the intelligent creatures inhabiting the world. The humans. Unfortunately, they were unable to stay long due to the portal’s instability. It had a time limit, forcing them to go back. That wouldn’t be the last time they entered the human world though. The news regarding the human world travelled fast. Demons, wizards, and even monsters everywhere would cooperate to open portals more often. They all took what they wanted from the human world; plants, animals, and even the humans themselves. They were all fascinated with humans to the point where they wanted to look human as well. The wizards used magic with human material such as skin, hair, nails, etc. to recreate their form. The demons took human blood in order to get their DNA. The monsters were interested in both the humans and the animals that lived in their world, so they mixed their forms by practicing the use of shapeshifting alongside eating their flesh. Because humans had no power of their own, any who escaped would usually not last long out in the wilderness of Nilangad. Especially with all the hungry monsters running around.Others would start to get greedy and demand to open more portals for a longer amount of time. Creating a portal would require a demon, a wizard, and huge amounts of blood and magical energy. Greedy demons would force wizards to prolong the opening of portals, losing their human form. Greedy wizards would continue hurting demons more than they can handle to extract more blood. Their wounds healed quickly, but they would still feel pain every time. This would lead to plenty of demons and wizards dying at the expense of the other. Aside from that, they would also use portals to banish those who disobeyed law or caused too much chaos. This would lead to stories or myths of the supernaturals in the human world. This led to a huge conflict between the demons and wizards. The monsters were divided in who they supported. The Unano, now seeing what evil the portals have brought upon their people, decided to put an end to it all. They sealed all the portals and locked away all the information regarding portals and everyone’s memories about it in a very powerful tome. The tome was encased in a jar filled with the blood of the demons, within a chamber protected by elemental barriers, and guarded by a behemoth lurking in the depths. With the last of their breath, the Unano sacrificed themselves to seal the jar away where no one could find it.With their memories wiped and the humans safe once again, things went back to the way they were. The animals and plants they obtained from the human world continued to reproduce, but no one knew where they truly came from. The humans became a myth among them. Rumors spread of how humans once roamed their lands. To this day, the whereabouts of the sacred tome are unknown, even to those descended from the Unano.
----------
==TL:DR==
- A lonely god split themself into three, and became the god of creation, balance, and judgement.
- They created the world alongside demons, wizards, monsters, and humans.
- Humans kept dying because they were outmatched by the other three races so they prayed to a god (Balance) to help them
- Balance took notice and asked Creation if they could make another world with humans living by themselves, Creation agreed on the condition that Creation would be the only one in charge of it
- The world reset with demons, wizards, and monsters being the only ones in Nilangad
- Their intelligence grew until they figured out how to combine powers to make portals which coincidentally lead to the human world
- They started kidnapping and consuming humans which lead them to imitate their appearance
- More and more demons/wizards became greedy about keeping portals open at the expense of the other and this led to anarchy in Nilangad
- The First Ancestors, the ones who first opened the portals, wanted to stop the chaos and sacrificed themselves to seal all knowledge about the portals
- The world was considered reset yet again, with the demons, monsters, and wizards living life normally with all memories about humans erased

three island groups

- Mostly share the same common language and morals. They all practice peace within the nation, with the exception of some isolated tribes.
- Zablon has the biggest landmass, followed by Minglupa then Gitlayang.
- Most of the population originated from Minglupa, but the demons wanted their own land so they moved north and occupied the lands of Zablon. The Wizards followed suit so they occupied the lands of Gitlayang. The Monsters, content with having their own land, decided to stay put in Minglupa.

ZABLON, Crimson Empire of the North

> Based on Luzon, Leading species- Demons
> Abo- ash
> Heat and pollution (ash) —Demons generally prefer a warmer climate
> Celeuxe is from here
GEOGRAPHY
- Urban area, similar to Metro Manila but with more greenery as per request of the Wizards and Monsters also living in Zablon
- Metropolis with modern technology, the most technologically advanced between the three island groups
- Dry season and rainy season which changes within the year
—→ Dry season is akin to summer with hot weather and little to no rainfall. Usually occurs around the months of November to May
—→ Rainy season is when rainfall occurs either through drizzles or harsh storms. Despite the rain, it may still be hot and humid. Usually occurs from June to October
—→ The coldest months are around November to February
- Has hills and that plateaus people go to during summer
- Northern Zablon is where there are farmlands and agriculture
- Edge of land has slightly higher mountains which usually protect from typhoons and storms
GOVERNMENT
- Imperial/Monarchy, political dynasty
- Lead by the Demon Royal Family
—→ The demon royal family is composed of pureblooded descendants of the first demon king who reigned upon the land after the first war
- Some people have issues with how the royal family leads, but they generally keep their mouth shut in public in fear of being persecuted for their opinions. But overall, the king at least keeps order and peace in Zablon for the most part.
CULTURE
- Religion- Mostly atheists. They don’t believe in a higher power than themselves
In some cases, lower demons consider the demon king to be their “god”
- Food- Mostly meat-based dishes from animal meat and occasionally monster meat (from those without a will of their own, of course). Blood from these creatures are extracted and made into a special drink similar to juice with different flavors.
- Economy- A lot of people from Zablon value trading goods with each other. This is especially prominent with the frequent trading between Zablon and Gitlayang.
- Values the sense of individualism. A lot of people tend to move out and live on their own as soon as they are old enough.

GITLAYANG, Six Isles of the Arcane Winds

> Based on Visayas, Leading species- Wizards
> Langit- sky, Gitna- middle
> Neutral ground for either side
> Dioe, Lisza, Musika and Xell are from here

GEOGRAPHY
- Six islands- Five that represent the main elements of magic (water, fire, air, earth, and spirit), and one central island where people usually gather for trades and where the wizard council is situated
—→ Does not necessarily mean that a wizard who specializes with that specific element lives there. Commonfolk are scattered around the islands
- Rural sort of developed area. Central island has an area akin to a city while the rest of the islands are composed of towns and villages
- Usually where typhoons/tornadoes go, though the wizards in charge of the weather make sure that this is regulated
- Smaller islands separated by water and are divided into smaller regions represented by a wizard in the council
GOVERNMENT
- Oligarchy, lead by the Wizard Council— a group of powerful Wizards with each main element represented
—→ Water, Fire, Air, Earth, and Spirit, though since Spirit is uncommon and broad, a user of Light is typically chosen
—→ The central island is where the wizard council’s building is located and is where they gather to discuss events happening on their respective islands. They also discuss about laws that should be implemented to enforce order and peace
- In order to pass on their title to their successor, they must first pass a test involving the mastery of their respective elements. This typically does not happen unless the council member is old, or if they pass away due to unforeseen circumstances. They usually have a set of candidate/s in mind before this happens for this reason.
- More specific laws are usually not passed because the different members tend to argue with each other, though the basics for keeping complete chaos out of the land are enforced. This usually leads to occasional crime going unnoticed.
CULTURE
- Religion- Believes and worships the Awatara, a powerful wizard who was a master of all five elements
—→ There was an ancient mage who was a rare case of someone being able to control all five types of magic. A wizard able to control more than two types of magic is extremely rare, so five seemed impossible. Some people say they're just a myth, while the majority believes they really existed.
—→ Possibly the same mage who was part of the First Ancestors that hid the knowledge of humans before sacrificing themself along with the others.
- Language- Tomes used to help wizards with magic are entirely written in Baybayin, the Text of the Ancients.
—→ This is the language used by the First Ancestors to write down the spells they used. If they are written using the modern alphabet, the tomes will not work.
—→ There are plenty of schools or at least tutors who are willing to teach kids how to read and write Baybayin at an early age, alongside the normal alphabet.
- Food- mostly vegetable and fish-based dishes. Being the island group mostly surrounded by water, there are plenty of fish to be caught for eating. Generally dislikes eating animal or monster meat but they will if there is no other choice.

MINGLUPA, Ancient Forest of the First Tribes

> Based on Mindanao, Leading species- Monsters
> Aming Lupa - “Our Land”
> Tradition over innovation
> Jaime and Kiko are from here

GEOGRAPHY
- A living forest that takes care of its people. This island group is the one most imbued with magic and is the most “untainted”, being the closest one to how the lands originally were thousands of years ago.
- Plenty of forests, caves, and swamps. Also has mountains tall enough that it starts snowing. Has the most diverse landmass to accommodate the living conditions of the unique monster species.
- Being very large without that many roads and pavements, it is very easy to get lost if you do not know where you are going. It is recommended to seek the guidance of a local if you wish to go to a specific area of Minglupa.
- The forest will know if you enter the lands with ill intentions (such as to illegally cut down trees or disturb the peace) and it will trap you within its depths forever. Many known people have gone missing this way.
"GOVERNMENT"
- Tribal/Feudal, Monster tribes control their own territories
- Has no true leader as the tribes usually argue with each other. When something big comes up, they can hold a Sapakan (a form of battle or duel) to have a temporary chieftain until the issue is solved
- Tribes believe in survival of the fittest and care more about whoever is more useful to them.
—→ Although, the leader of the tribe is generally the one who is most capable of providing for the needs of others so they try to make sure everyone is on the same level
—→ If a member of the group or family is too sick or old, they do them a favor and euthanize them for the sake of the group. They only do this if they are sure the person has reached a point of no return
CULTURE
- Religion- Believes in and worships Anito or nature/animal spirits that are part of the land itself
—→ The land gives to them, they give to the land in return
—→ They would often perform rituals to give offerings to these spirits
- Language- Because they mostly stay in their own lands, they have a special language different from the others but some inhabitants are capable of speaking the common language used in Zablon and Gitlayang
- Food- A mix of vegetable and meat-based dishes. They get whatever resources they can from forests and caves.
- Values the sense of collectivism. Everyone is generally very family oriented and people would go out to provide for the needs of their own families or groups.

AFTERLIFE REALM

> A domain created by the God of Judgement
> Is nowhere near the mortal realm. Only Judgement, Angels, and the souls who have passed on from the mortal realm may enter it
> Where Angels are born and made with a purpose to guide the souls where they’re supposed to go
> Roquiel is from here
Those who have done good on land may be permitted to stay a bit longer and enjoy themselves in paradise until they are ready to move on and be reincarnated by the God of Creation.
- These souls may do whatever enjoyable activities they never got to do back when they were still alive. Some may just spend time with their loved ones (or, a copy of their loved ones if they did not deserve to be in paradise) who have passed away before they have.
- Normal angels tasked with assisting these souls may appear instantly if needed.
- Those who have lived long enough and simply wish to move on may send a request to Judgement. Roquiel, a high ranking angel executioner, is in charge of carrying out painless deaths to these people in order to be reincarnated, as ordered by Judgement
Those who have done evil are sent to the Abyss and is akin to hell with the entity experiencing pain and suffering.
- The amount of time spent there may depend on how vile your deeds were on land. After a certain time period has passed, Judgement will proceed with your reincarnation but as something terrible like a house fly or cockroach. If your actions are beyond redemption, you are fated to stay there forever
- There are some angels whos jobs are to torture these souls as part of their punishment but ultimately the souls are the ones that cause the most pain to themselves
Those who are inbetween are sent to The White Room, a plain and blank area that is seemingly vast and endless.
- Entities are put here to reflect on their past life on land. They may revisit memories and see them from an outsider’s perspective. They may not be able to do anything to affect these memories, though.
- The time spent here is dependent on how much good or evil you have done on land. Being a sort of “purgatory”, there is not much one can do but look back and observe their actions that lead to them being in The White Room.
- Much like the areas above and below, an entity can be reincarnated once Judgement has deemed that the person has spent enough time giving thought about themselves and their choices during their entire stay.

DEMON BLOOD

Blood Pacts, Favours
- Forming contracts or getting a favour from a demon to share their power requires a blood pact and a sacrifice. This would signify that the demon has “ownership” or control over you while you get part of their power in return. The bigger the favour, the more blood you have to give. Alongside blood, you would also have to sacrifice something that holds value or meaning to you.
—→ If you were to sacrifice the life of another for a big favour, they would have to genuinely mean a lot to you as having a fake bond would not work. The blood would know.
—→ Getting a demon’s favour would mean not being allowed to form another contract with another one. Other than that, you are free to live life normally without necessarily being under the watch of the demon 24/7.
- Favours include- Luck, wealth, love, strength, fame, etc. Mostly power that can influence your fate, destiny, or future.
- The more powerful the demon you get a favour from, the more influence you can have on your own destiny.
- Upon making a contract, a demon symbol or mark is placed on the heart or core of the client and cannot be removed until the conditions have been met and fulfilled. You are also unable to hide the symbol no matter what because others can sense it if they are nearby.
Curses
- Should a contract be broken or unfulfilled, the demon has a power to inflict a deadly curse upon the client. This occurs when a favour is granted before a sacrifice, and has gone past the deadline for providing it.
- Curses can last for generations until the proper sacrifice has been made. If the demon dies before that, the sacrifice can instead be given to a family member or blood relative of the demon.
- It is very important to remember the weight of the favour asked for. If the client dies without ever letting anyone know about the sacrifice needed, the curse is passed on to a relative of the client and cannot be lifted.
—→ The only way the curse can be broken without a sacrifice is if 1- the client is the only one remaining in their bloodline, or 2- The demon is the only one remaining in their bloodline
- The nature of the curse is usually the opposite effect of the favour granted.
—→ I.e. If the client has asked for sheer luck, the curse would be to have bad luck. If the client asked for wealth, they would suffer being in debt to others.

MAGIC AND AURA

Aura
- Better known as “magic”, with an aura user having their own specialty.
- Wizards are the only ones capable of harnessing the magical energy in their surroundings and turning it into their own aura
- An aura color is inherently unique to each individual. It comes from their core being and is visible when an aura user performs magic. A wizard’s aura color may change more frequently during childhood as they are still developing, but as they become adults it stabilizes and remains a single color.
- An aura user can specialize in a maximum of two elements. Any more than that is unheard of, though it was possible during the ancient times with there being more concentrated magical energy. With the population steadily growing and the energy being shared among everyone, the number of max elements to be mastered became limited to two.
- Magic is not without its limits. It is very important for an aura user to make sure that they don’t overuse their abilities.
—→ The magical stamina of each wizard depends on the individual. The more you train, the more you can use your aura and perform more powerful spells.
—→ Going past one’s limits can be dangerous to one’s physical body. Since an aura user is like a “filter” for magical energy, you are susceptible to melding into the element you are overusing. Using too much of fire aura engulfs your body in flames and turns it into ash, and using too much water aura liquefies your body until it becomes pure water.
—→ Wizards may die from overexertion so before the body goes past its limit, it is advised to refrain from doing any magical activity until the body returns to normal. It may take days to weeks to months, depending on severity.
- On the same note, not utilizing one’s aura may also lead to negative effects.
—→ The body slowly loses its human appearance and the wizard may go back to looking more like a ghastly entity, which is how the first wizards looked like.
—→ Alongside this, they lose their sense of consciousness and morality until they are unable to think for themselves.
—→ It is quite difficult to bring someone back to normal in this state though it is still possible with the help of special tomes.
- It is debatable whether Wizard/Monster hybrids can be also considered aura users but plenty of people agree that they are as they can still manipulate the surrounding energy, albeit not that strong. In this case, hybrids may only be able to utilize a maximum of one element but not be able to perform advanced spells of that element.
—→ Despite this, hybrids need not worry about losing their physical form from neglecting or overusing their aura as their monster DNA is what keeps their physical body intact.
Elements
- Are divided into five- Water, Fire, Air, Earth, and Spirit.
- Plenty of specific aura users have specialities or subclasses related to their main element. It is quite common or normal for two wizards to have the same abilities with differing aura colors.
- Dual aura users are able to combine these elements to make unique spells.
- Spirit- Anything not under the four natural elements
—→ The most common subclass for the spirit element is light and dark aura. This element is generally quite difficult to master as you need more concentration and skill. Those who have mastered spirit aura are respected and admired.
